The Undersecretary of the Ministry of Awqaf and Islamic Affairs, Farid Emadi, announced
Kuwait is keen to participate in the Islamic Solidarity Fund, based on the approach drawn by the late Emir Sheikh Sabah Al-Ahmad, may God have mercy on him, when he made Kuwait a country of humanity.
Emadi said that the slogan “Kuwait is the Country of Humanity” has made it a priority for the Ministry of Awqaf and Islamic Affairs to work on achieving and consolidating this slogan through its work strategy, which made it keen to participate and contribute in
The work of the Islamic Solidarity Fund, whose humanitarian work extended to the east and west of the earth.
Emadi enumerated the objectives of the Islamic Solidarity Fund, such as contributing to building mosques, universities, hospitals and schools, and supporting Islamic centers inside and outside Islamic countries.
Organizing the granting of aid and material aid to the countries, minorities and Muslim communities
Spreading Islamic, cultural and social thought, supporting and organizing the activity of Muslim youth, and organizing the dissemination of the Islamic call and its message, and the teachings and ideals of Islam.
He pointed out that the Islamic Solidarity Fund continues its repeated successes after it has been in the sixty-fifth session since its launch until now, because of its great importance to member states and for the support it provides to scientific, advocacy and development projects in the member states of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation.
Emadi indicated that the Ministry of Awqaf and Islamic Affairs is keen to participate in events, activities and conferences held by the ministries of Awqaf and Islamic Affairs in Arab and Islamic countries, based on the strategy of the Ministry of Awqaf calling for partnership with the other and achieving leadership in Islamic work.
Emadi said that these partnerships increase the bonds of cooperation and rapprochement among the ministries of member states and provide opportunities for development and progress for the good of the country and people.
